Data, Analytics, and Institutional Research (DAIR) creates targeted mailing lists of students or employees for university and nonuniversity clients. Lists are generated based on client-defined criteria and delivered for one-time use via campus/U.S. mail or the Webtools Email+ system.
To request approval for the following mailing lists, contact:
- For student lists: Director of Assessment and Planning for Student Affairs (Beth Hoag; https://studentaffairs.illinois.edu/assessment/sara)
- For employee lists: Assistant Chancellor for HR Strategy, Policy, and Planning (Luanne Mayorga)
- For faculty lists: Executive Vice Provost for Academic Affairs (William Bernhard)
Delivery of mailing lists
- DAIR provides the lists directly to the service that will be doing the mailing in a format that it has specified. Lists are rarely provided directly to the requestor.
- For printed mailings → Contact the Mailing Center for details.
- For email → Sent through Webtools Email+.
DAIR can create one or more copies of identical email groups in WebTools. You will then be able to send out your email message(s) via Email+ or have DAIR send them on your behalf for a minimal fee.
Estimate for list delivery
- Standard: Two weeks after approvals received.
- For a deadline of less than two weeks: Possible fee, but expedited service is not guaranteed.
- Exact counts cannot be provided until lists are run.
