The Hiring Plans System is used at the college and university levels for budgetary decisions related to hiring. Aggregate employee data are available to assist with planning.
Through this system, college personnel submit information related to new and vacant positions, and provide updates on hiring activities. The system is used for tenure-system faculty, specialized faculty, academic professional, and civil service positions.
